This spring we re-did our lake house landscaping and put in uplighting. The lights the landscaper used were functional, but the light was harsh and you could see the bulbs when you looked out onto the trees. My husband purchased these lights and they are PERFECT! You cannot see the bulbs, water drains well for the uplighting, they are well made, and the lighting is more than sufficient but soft. We love how the house is illuminated from the house and from the water.

    A: No I am sorry this is not a plug in unit. You would have to wire it to the house or another power source.
